Area Manager – Ernest Jones & Leslie Davis - Central London

This is a diamond opportunity to join the World’s largest retail jeweller by sales, in the role of an Area Manager for London. This is one of the most profitable areas in the business, so it really is the jewel in our crown.

As the London Area Manager, you’ll successfully manage both the financial and operational performance of 14 high profile Ernest Jones & Leslie Davis stores including our flagship Westfield and Bluewater stores and amazing new airport offering based in Gatwick .

You’ll work with some of the most prestigious brands including Brietling, Omega and Tag to name but a few.

The Role:

Within our business the Area Manager is responsible for driving a high performance sales and customer service culture through coaching, recognition and by leading by example. You’ll challenge, inspire and increase the management capability of the teams in your area not only through your infectious passion for retail, but also through developing clear succession plans for the area.

Exceeding sales, customer, people and profit targets will be second nature to you, as you use your knowledge and expertise to analyse business data in order to develop and deliver commercially measurable results through your area operational, people and strategic plans.

To be successful in this role you will:

*Be passionate about the retail environment and all the challenges and opportunities it presents.

*Be commercially focussed and understand the true value of delivering exceptional customer service.

*Have previous area management experience in a multi-site and multi-brand role.

*A proven track record of driving sales performance and delivering exceptional financial results.

*Have translated large amounts of commercial data to develop and deliver operational, people and strategic plans.

*Understand the commercial value of developing and nurturing meaningful relationships with key brand partners.

*Have carried out in-depth competitor and marketplace analysis that you have fed into your operational, people and strategic plans.

*Be tenacitious.

*Have previous HR accountabilities for your teams.

*Have a desire and the ability to improve the capability of your teams by coaching them to success.
