Based across two locations, our Store Support Centre teams have a diverse range of skills, which together support the smooth running of more than 300 stores and our online business. We have teams focused on and passionate about our customers, our stores, our product and promotions and our supply chain. As well as teams focused on our people, our performance and our processes and those who are great with data and design.
Our Birmingham Store Support Centre is based a short distance from the Jewellery Quarter. Teams based in our Birmingham Support Centre include: Customer Fulfilment (warehouse and distribution), Customer Contact Centre, Finance, IT, People/HR, Property, Quality Assurance, Repairs, Store Development, Facilities and Security and Store Operations.
We moved into our Croxley Park office in the summer of 2022, and are very proud to have a space designed to encourage team work and collaboration. Our Buying (Product) and Merchandise Planning, Digital, Marketing and Legal teams, as well as some of our Finance, IT and People/HR team members are based here.
Fashion focused and perfectly in tune with our customer, our buying team seeks out the brands and products that will entice people through our doors and on to our websites. But that's only part of the story - our buyers are commercially savvy negotiators too. They agree the best rates with our suppliers and then work closely with our merchandise planning team to ensure stock arrives and is available in the right place at the right time. Based in Birmingham, our customer fulfilment team ensures the right items - in the right quantity and condition - get to the right place at the right cost. Whether it’s receiving incoming stock from suppliers or stores, or picking, packing and dispatching outgoing stock to customers, stores or suppliers, this team plans and manages it.

Our Store Development team deliver stunning store fit outs for all our brands. They design, build and refurbish stores working closely with suppliers and cross functionally with other teams. This team is predominantly field based. Our Facilities and Security team ensures all of our locations are safe and suitable working environments for our team members, customers and visitors. The majority of the team is based in our Store Support Centre in Birmingham.
This team ensure that all our beautiful jewellery products have been thoroughly checked and meet all legal requirements and our strict quality standards so that our customers are really satisfied with their purchase. They also ensure the integrity throughout our supply chain. Our QA team is based in our Birmingham Store Support Centre.
I was given good training when I started. Everybody here is very helpful and there is a friendly atmosphere. If I have a problem, someone always tries to help solve it. The highlight of my career has been progressing and the opportunity to be Team Leader during our peak period.
I have been with Signet nearly ten years, starting as a temp for the Christmas period and have never looked back. My first role was working in Returns.
